It could be a simple hi, or a heartfelt “how are you?” It’s a universal language that transcends cultures and borders. Yet, in our busy lives, we often overlook the significance of greetings.

Daily greetings like “good morning” set the tone for the day, creating a sense of connection and community. Seasonal greetings, such as holiday wishes or birthday messages, remind loved ones they’re remembered and valued.

What may seem insignificant to one person can be the highlight of another’s day. This applies alot to those who are old or bedridden. A ten-minute visit “just to check-up” would be the highlight of his entire week, or dare I say month. By taking a moment to greet others, we show we care. Let us revive the art of greeting – it’s a simple yet powerful way to make a difference in someone’s life.
