As we end the first month of 2025, we are presented with an opportunity to look at what has happened thus far. Are we getting closer to our goals, or are we no closer than at the close of 2024?
Is it not too early, you say? After all, we have only done one month. Let us do one quarter instead. I say there is no better time than today.
- Do not wait until the end of the first quarter.
- Do it now.
- Do it as we end January.
Henry Ford says,
“The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.”
In the sage words of Henry Ford, Let us edify ourselves by re-examining the situations from January and identifying areas for improvement in the month of February.
We must look at how we can best improve our collective future. Already, I am sure you would have noticed some plans that have not come off. Likewise, you would also have had unplanned surprises thrust upon you.
This is why we need to review the 31 days from January thus far. Project management teaches us the concept of lessons learned. Recording the lessons we have learned from January, we can move with more speed and gusto.
I have done my review, have you?
