Hi y’all,
Hope you are all good? You said you’re great. Well that’s just splendid. For this post I’ll like to pimp up your workflow with Trello and Google Calendar.
First let me ask, do you use Trello? Yes I know you do. If you don’t signup for Trello here. It is a recommended tool for all your team projects. I wrote an article on it here.
I want you to have greater efficency with the tool, using Google Calendar. Usually, you have to login into Trello to view the tasks you have to do. I know I do. I have multiple projects, and it would be nice to know exactly what I am supposed to do next without necessarily going through all my boards.
Won’t it be nice if you could just see your Trello events without necessarily logging into Trello. Here’s how you can set it up.
Steps:
- Choose board
- Click to show sidebar
- Click power-ups
- Click calendar
- In the settings tab, select enabled
- This will generate a url
- Copy this URL into your clipboard(you’ll need it soon)
Great, now we are done with the Trello part. Next up we will navigate to our Google Calendar.
- In Google Calendar, go to other calandars
- Click the small down arrow button
- Select to add calendar by url
- Paste the url that was genearated in Trello
That is all there is to do. You are done. Sorry to disappoint you if you were looking for a complicated solution. It is really just that simple.
No need to keep going to your Trello account to know what you have to do. Hope you enjoyed that little productivity tip. I will share more next time.
Cheers.
